Background

Turning loosely defined problems into structured, forward movement.

I work across strategy, execution, research, and operational alignment. Over the last thirteen years, I’ve taken on loosely defined problems in startups, small businesses, industry-sponsored research, and growing organizations—often without formal authority—and helped turn them into structured work, clearer decisions, and forward movement.

My path has moved from early operating and P&L responsibility, to translational bioengineering and industry-facing research operations, to independent advisory work through Altigad. Across those environments, I’ve been trusted to lead multi-year initiatives, translate technical and organizational complexity for senior audiences, and step into situations where the scope is unclear but the stakes are real.

  1. 2024–Present

    Altigad

    Founder

I founded Altigad to formalize independent advisory work at the intersection of strategy and execution. I’m typically brought in when a priority crosses departments or institutions, the scope is unclear, and leadership needs a high-autonomy contributor to diagnose what is happening, design a path forward, and help move it into reality. The work includes embedded operating support, strategic execution, institutional and ecosystem analysis, proposal and program design, coalition building, and research-driven project development.

  2. 2018–Present

    University of Kansas

Adjunct Researcher; formerly Research Technician and Research Intern

I progressed from research intern to Adjunct Researcher in an industry-sponsored bioengineering lab while working under a principal investigator serving in senior research leadership. My work has included helping deliver multi-year research initiatives, presenting to vice presidents at a Fortune 500 company, patent attorneys, and eight principal investigators, coordinating research continuity under annual contract-renewal pressure, and advancing peptide/material-interface research from literature review through synthesis, assay development, analytical validation, and external review.

  3. 2015–2019

    MaidIn KC

    Operations Manager

I managed a $1.44M annual P&L and $720K payroll across 20–30 staff while helping operationalize city-wide service delivery for 50+ recurring clients.

  4. 2012–2015

    Zoomin

    Operations Team Member (Employee #5)

I supported founders during early launch, helping build staffing models, documentation, and core operating procedures in a resource-constrained startup environment.
